The Aortic Aneurysm Research Lab was originally established in 1999 as part of the Conrad Jobst Vascular Research Lab in University of Michigan. The lab moved to University of Virginia as part of the Vascular Surgery Research Lab in University of Virginia in 2010. In Jan. 2018, the lab joined the research team in the Department of Surgery, University of Florida. We are now located on the third floor of Academic Research Building in University of Florida campus. Our lab currently consists of a molecular biology unit, histology unit, cell culture unit, microsurgery suite and research offices. It is one of the few labs in the country that is dedicated solely to the basic scientific research of abdominal aortic aneurysm.
