Overview of Dr. Pusic’s Research
Dr. Pusic is a leader in the field of patient-reported outcomes and surgical experience and has published over 200 papers on this topic. Her research involves developing and implementing tools to assess outcomes from the patient perspective. The BREAST-Q, a patient-reported outcomes measure developed by Dr. Pusic, is used around the world to help surgeons appreciate how women feel about the results of their breast surgery. At the PROVE Center, Dr. Pusic’s research team works to better understand how patients feel about their outcomes and experiences and use this information to improve surgical care.
