What were you looking for in a residency program? Excellent training with diverse exposure to all branches of general surgery and a supportive and friendly atmosphere.​

What are the strengths of the UF program? This is a collegial environment with great exposure to all different areas of general surgery.

What do you like best about living in Gainesville? I love living in Gainesville. It is so easy to live here with a lot of accessible outdoor activities from biking on the Hawthorne trail to watching the gators at Sweetwater.

List of hobbies/interests: Biking, Running, Rock Climbing, Skiing, Eating Halo Potato Donuts, and Exploring Gainesville with my significant other, Arthur, and my dog, Nila.
