What were you looking for in a residency program? ​

I was looking for a program with a supportive environment and excellent training. In addition, I wanted a program where there is a broad variety of cases and experts in different subspecialties so that I can be supported and mentored in whichever subspecialty I decide to pursue.

What are the strengths of the UF program?

resident camaraderie, high volume of cases, mentorship opportunities

What do you like best about living in Gainesville?

Gainesville is a small college town that has a ton to offer. There are numerous unique restaurants and outdoor activities. It is also only a couple hour drive to the larger cities in Florida including Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville.

List of hobbies/interests: exercising/staying active, hanging with my cat, spending time with family, trying new restaurants around town
