Robert Richardson, MD, is a cardiovascular surgeon at UF Health Cardiothoracic Surgery in Leesburg.

Dr. Richardson attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. He then completed a general surgery residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and a cardiothoracic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated hospitals.

Prior to joining UF Health, Dr. Richardson joined the faculty of Baylor where he taught and practiced general, vascular and trauma surgery at Ben Taub General Hospital until he entered private practice.

In addition to his clinical and surgical expertise, Dr. Richardson is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
