About Liza F Laquian

Liza Laquian, MD, is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine and a surgical intensivist at the UF Health Heart and Vascular Hospital. She earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, and, during that time, also volunteered on numerous international service trips. Thereafter, she pursued general surgery residency at the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. After completion of her residency, she remained in Gainesville to complete a surgical critical care fellowship.

Dr. Laquian is interested in critical care of vascular surgery patients as well as medical student and resident education.
