Congratulations to research resident Christine Rodhouse, M.D., on being awarded first place in last week’s Florida Committee on Trauma (FCOT) paper research competition, held May 2 in Gainesville, Fl.
Rodhouse joined residents and fellows in the fields of trauma, critical care, and injury prevention from across the state at the FCOT annual meeting.
The paper, titled “Sexual Dimorphism in Septic Murine Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells,” won the basic science section and will represent Florida in this fall’s regional competition, to be held in Mississippi.
