Faculty of the Month: George Sarosi, MD
“Dr. Sarosi always goes above and beyond for his residents, colleagues, and patients. He is both passionate and understanding! I have firsthand watched him stop where he was going to help a resident in need. He is an advocate for his residents and really cares that they each have an amazing educational experience!”

APP/ Nurse of the Month: Lauren Indelicato
“Lauren is the backbone of the Pediatric Burn Program . She has been instrumental in bringing laser therapy, pain medications, Child Life involvement and Social Work involvement to the Pediatric Burn Clinic to improve the care of Pediatric burn patients. She has worked tirelessly to improve access to mental healthcare to these patients. Her work should not be overlooked.”
APP/Nurse of the Month: Dironda Strange
“Best APP out there. Works hard, always knows her stuff, brings in snacks. Hard working asset to the Trauma-Acute Care surgery service. First one there and the last one to leave. It’s a pleasure to work with her. She is excellent at her job and kind to residents.”
Staff of the Month: Edra Ijames, Assistant to the Chair
