What were you looking for in a residency program? 

Somewhere where I would be able to pursue any post-graduation plan I decided on – meaning somewhere where I had both good clinical training and access to a robust research experience. I also wanted a program where the residents got along and where I felt like a member of a family.

What are the strengths of the UF program? 

The people – all the residents get along very well, both inside and outside of the hospital. Dr. Sarosi truly cares about the residents and wants us to be our best (both at work and at home). The attendings are not only experts in their fields, but they clearly care about resident education.

What do you like best about living in Gainesville? 

The location – you can be in Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, or either coast in under 3 hours. You can’t beat that for a quick weekend getaway!

List of hobbies/interests: My two cats – Kitty Smalls and Marshall Meowthers, cooking, and binge watching trashy TV on Netflix.
