Harvey Chim, M.D., FACS, Appointed to 2019–2020 Visiting Professor Program
Harvey Chim, M.D., FACS, has been selected to serve as an American Society for Surgery of the Hand visiting professor for the 2019 – 2020 academic year. The ASSH is the primary multispecialty hand surgery society in the United States and supports education and research to advance the practice of hand and upper extremity surgery. The society is dedicated to improving procedures and the quality of care for patients. The ASSH Visiting Professor program allows two plastic surgeons to visit residency programs around the United States to serve as a role model and encourage residents to choose a career in hand surgery.

- Replants and complex microsurgery in the hand
