Frederick Moore, M.D., to Receive College of Medicine Faculty Research Award in Clinical Science

The UF Department of Surgery is excited to share that its very own Frederick Moore, M.D., will be the recipient of this year’s UF College of Medicine Faculty Research Award in Clinical Science.

Dr. Moore is a professor and chief of acute care surgery. His research interests include translational efforts related to multiple organ failure, inflammatory response after trauma and nutrition and the immune system. Additionally, his clinical interests focus on acute care surgery, emergency surgery, surgical critical care, trauma surgery and sepsis.

Dr. Moore will receive the award at the College of Medicine Faculty Appreciation Reception on April 10. We are proud to have him as a leader on our team, and we are excited to share in this outstanding accomplishment.
