Thomas S. Huber, M.D., Ph.D.

Thomas S. Huber, M.D., Ph.D., a professor and chief of the division of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy in the UF College of Medicine, has been appointed to the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery, or VSB-ABS.

Huber, past-president of the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, is among five representatives from five major regional vascular surgery societies to fill the newly created positions. His term begins on July 1.

The VSB-ABS, a component board of the American Board of Surgery, oversees and defines all processes related to board certification in vascular surgery.
