UF surgeons honored at College of Medicine faculty appreciation event

Three UF surgeons were recognized at the UF College of Medicine faculty appreciation event held in April at the UF president’s home.

Tim Flynn, M.D., a professor in the department of surgery’s division of vascular and endovascular therapy and the college’s senior associate dean for clinical affairs, was recognized for 30 years of service. Thomas Huber, M.D., Ph.D., a professor and the chief of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy, was recognized for 20 years of service. Tiago Machuca, M.D., Ph.D., an assistant professor in the division of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, was introduced as a new faculty member.
