University of Wisconsin pediatric surgeon gives Talbert lecture

Keith Oldham, M.D., professor and chief of the division of pediatric surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin was this year’s guest speaker at the James Lewis Talbert Lectureship and Mini-Symposium Program on March 22. Oldham, who also is the Marie Uihlein Chair of Pediatric Surgery, surgeon-in-chief and clinical vice president of surgery at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, spoke on “Optimal Resources for Children’s Surgical Care in the United States.” Talbert, a professor emeritus and founding chief of the division of pediatric surgery, joined the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1967.
